Our Mission

Task Aid is a politically independent non-profit organization working to make a positive difference in the lives of underprivileged persons  in Southeast Europe through improvements in national education, health, and social welfare systems. We believe in the value of a quality of life that empowers people: access to adequate and appropriate healthcare and social programs allows people to fulfill their potential. We also believe in the power of education: education opens minds and hearts, and produces the future leaders who will grow to positively impact their communities, countries, and the world.
 

We recognize that the nations of Southeast Europe face enormous obstacles to their development. Task Aid aims to assist the people of these nations by providing monetary and material aid with which schools, clinics, orphanages, and other institutions may be improved. Most importantly, we seek to connect people with each other and the ideas that can bring about the positive changes needed in this region of the world. With these beliefs, Task Aid aims to ensure that no child spends a cold night in an unheated orphanage, that no clinic is without medicine, and that no school is without supplies.
