MassG.A.M.E's 2014 annual convocation was celebrated under the theme “Climbing to Higher Heights.” Starting with Sabbath School the upward journey began. The highlights of the Sabbath School were a skit the review of the Sabbath School Lesson and a rousing musical rendition from A Capella Bothers.
Dr. David McKenzie who was the speaker for the day helped attendees on a journey up to the Zenith. The title of his message was “Zenith Experience.” During his sermon he reminded us that in life there are mountain top experiences and valley experiences. He quipped that “everybody would like to live every moment on top a mountain,” but suggested that “it’s not always best to stay on top of the mountain.” The foundation for Dr. McKenzie’s message was based on three points. Preservation-God will preserve us for his purpose. Preparation- God purposefully places us in situations to prepare us for a purpose. And finally Presentation- after God preserves us He prepares us then presents us. By the end of the message we were truly having a “Zenith Experience.” The day was caped off with a concert that feathered instrumental music (steel pan and piano), singers and poetry. There were lots of people; there was good fellowship, and great good. Plan to be there next year by God’s grace.
MassG.A.M.E celebrated its annual convocation on July 16th 2011 under the caption, "This Gospel of the Kingdom." This celebration could be deemed a success as many who were in attendance commented that this was the best year yet, while others who came for the fist time said they will continue to come. Pastor Nigel Lewis started off the day with an inspiring message followed by Pastor Fitzroy Jackson with another inspiring message. That was followed by a feature entittled "The Man in The Street," which used to be a radio show in Guyana. The afternoon session ended with a rousing sermon from Pastor Lester Parkinson. The day was capped off with a social that produced lots of laughter for all in attendance. We now look forward to next year and the other events and activities to come.
